Sligo Volunteer Centre have not set the dates for Autumn/Winter 2010 training.

Training will happen in a venue to be confirmed.

The topics that will be covered are:

• Planning for Volunteer Involvement/Designing Volunteer Roles
• Recruiting, Selction and Induction of Volunteers
• Recognition/Motivation for Volunteers and Providing Supervision and support for volunteers
• Developing a Policy for Volunteer Involvement

This training is approved by VCI and is being rolled out by Volunteer Centres nationwide. Check www.volunteer.ie for the sechedule in your area.
