Sligo Volunteer Centre are one of 21 Volunteer Centres nationwide who are members of Volunteer Centres Ireland (VCI).

There are a number of counties bordering Sligo that do not have Volunteer Centres at the moment. We only register opportunites to volunteer within County Sligo. However, if you are from Leitrim or Roscommon, you are welcome to register with our service and take part in opportunites in County Sligo.

On this page we are going to keep information on voluntary opportunites in Leitrim and Roscommon. We have been advised of these opportunites by the relevant organisations and you may contact them directly should you wish to find out more.

• Rossinver Integrated Social Enterprise (R.I.S.E.) Project. Based in Rossinver, this project offers a call service to older people living in the area. Volunteers are required to make calls to older people. The service happens 3 mornings per week between 10-12.30pm. Volunteers can get involved for the number of hours that suit them. Full training is provided. Volunteers also required for upcoming meals on wheels service. All volunteers must have access to transport.
