You may already have an idea of the type of volunteer vacancy you would like to pursue, or you may wish to explore some options and give some thought to finding the right vacancy. Either way our website should be a useful starting point for you.

YOUR OPTIONS

• You can browse through our "Articles for Volunteers" to get some tips on volunteering and guidance around making a choice of what to get involved in!

• You can register online by choosing the "Register Online" option from the drop down list. This means that all of your details are automatically registered on our database and we can give you full access to our services.

• You can browse through all of our active avacncies online by choosing the "Volunteer Vacancies" option on the drop down list. You can browse by category and see all of the available information on the vacancy. If there are some vacncies you would like to pursue, you can enter your email address to apply if you are already registered with us. If you are not registered you must complete this step first.

• When you apply for a vacancy through our website, we receive notification that you have applied. We will then contact you with the contact details for the organisation. If you want us to support you in the initial contact with the organisation, just talk to us about this!

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

• After you have made contact with an organisation, they may need to do some reference checks or go through a Garda Vetting procedure. This can take some time.

• When that is completed, you are ready to start volunteering!!

• Remember we are here to support you! If you are experiencing difficulty contacting an organisation or the role is not what you expected, do let us know as soon as possible.
